VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- On Monday, August 31, 2015 at approximately 7:00 P.M., deputies responded to a residence on the 14000 block of Rosemary Drive near Indian Wells Drive.
According to authorities, 46-year-old Martin Bauchman, showed up under the influence to the residence demanding to see his girlfriend.
The couple, who allegedly had been dating for two years, had previous domestic violence issues. Bauchman was not allowed inside by the woman’s adult children.
Authorities say, Bauchman attempted to force entry into the family home. That’s when the son and daughter intervened.
The son, stepped in to defend his mom, moments later he pulled out a handgun, and shot Bauchman once in the thigh and used the same handgun to strike Bauchman across the face.
Medical aid respond and Bauchman was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Authorities say at this time no arrest have been made. The case has been submitted to the District Attorney’s office for review.
