Man riding motorized scooter in Apple Valley hit by vehicle Friday night

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A man riding a motorized scooter was struck by a vehicle Friday night in Apple Valley.
It happened at about 11:09 pm in the 22300 block of Highway 18, east of Central Road.
Firefighters with the Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded and located the male.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
Helicopter Reach 43 landed at St. Mary’s Hospital and airlifted the male to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
The Apple Valley Police Department is investigating the accident.
