Man putting air in tires robbed at knife-point in Victorville

VICTORVILLE – A man putting air in his tire was robbed at knife-point by multiple suspects, officials said.
It happened on October 25, 2019, at about 9:30 pm in the 14600 block of Seventh Street in Victorville.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez said the male victim was putting air in his vehicle’s tires when he was approached by two males and a female.
“One of the males held a knife to the victim’s neck and demanded his wallet. The victim attempted to fight the suspect off but was unsuccessful. The suspect pushed him down and took his wallet,” stated Rodriguez.
All three subjects fled the area in what was described as a black Dodge Challenger.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Victorville Police Department at 760-241-2911.
