UPDATE : Man Arrested After Alleged Terror Threats; Family Speaks Out
VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- On Tuesday afternoon, a local Victorville business called 911 dispatch reporting an unknown male allegedly making threats while praising Allah.
The incident was reported at 12:13 PM, on June 14th, 2016, at a medical office in the Sun View Plaza located on the 13000 block of Hesperia Road.
Mara Rodriguez, a spokeswoman for the Victorville Sheriff’s, was able to confirm that an employee stated a man was inside the business and making threats.
Per local scanner traffic, a subject in the office said, “I’m about to shake this place up. I praise Allah. You know who I am. You can Google me.”
Due to the threats, a BOLO (be on the look-out) alert was issued to Victorville deputies as well as surrounding cities.
“Apple Valley deputies have detained the man they believe to have made the threats, and Victorville deputies are in route to make contact and continue the investigation,” stated Rodriguez. “The call is still active and no other information is available at this time. No one has been reported injured and no concerns for safety exist at this time in regards to this subject.”
