Man Killed in Crash on Air Expressway ID’d

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) The San Bernardino Coroner’s office has identified the man killed in Saturday’s crash near the Southern California Logistics Airport as Cornell McCarns, 30, a resident of Victorville.
The two-vehicle collision involving a 208 Ford Mustang and a Ford Explorer was reported at 2:12 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the intersection of Air Expressway and Phantom West in Victorville.

Authorities said McCarns was driving his Ford Mustang and attempting to make a left turn onto Air Expressway from Phantom west when his vehicle was struck by a westbound Ford Explorer.
The impact caused the Explorer to overturn and land on its roof. The Mustang was pushed onto the eastbound shoulder.
McCarns was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders at 2:25 p.m.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s – Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the collision.
McCarns’s family and friends have taken to social media to express their feelings about the loss of their beloved friend/family.
