Man Injured After Falling Off of Ravine

HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): Dispatch received a call on August 5th at about 2:00 p.m. regarding a man that fell off of the ravine north of the railroad tracks near El Centro Road and Bellflower Street.
The reporting party was unfamiliar with the area and was unable to give the exact location.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded along with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Hesperia Station deputies to rescue the injured man.
The conscious man was rescued at about 2:30 p.m.
“He was transported to Desert Valley Medical Center for large scrapes and deep cuts, nothing appeared broken, but (we) wouldn’t know until he was seen at the hospital,” said San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Karen Hunt.
