Man in wheelchair hit by car in Hesperia, airlifted to hospital

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A man in a wheelchair was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road Friday afternoon.
The crash was reported just after 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Spruce Street and Seventh Avenue in front of the Hesperia City Hall.
When First Responders arrived on scene they located an adult male lying in the roadway.
Bystanders reported that a driver stopped to allow the man to cross, and while he was crossing another approaching vehicle did not see the man and clipped him.
The man was transported to Desert Valley Hospital and then airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center with unknown injuries.
