Update: Transient Arrested After Stabbing in Old Town Victorville Leaves Man Hospitalized

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A man was hospitalized following a stabbing in Old Town Victorville, where he was found outside a gas station, and a transient suspect has since been arrested in connection with the incident.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2026, when deputies from the Victorville Station responded to a report of a stabbing in the 15000 block of Seventh Street, according to a written statement from the Victorville Police Department.

Upon arrival, deputies located a 54-year-old male transient suffering from injuries consistent with a stab wound and a laceration to the head. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities said that while the incident was initially reported in the 15000 block of Seventh Street, “the investigation revealed the stabbing occurred in the 15000 block of Tenth Street, in Victorville.”

Detectives from the Victorville Station Detective Bureau assumed the investigation and identified the suspect as 29-year-old transient Aaron Deal of Victorville.

On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, detectives, with the assistance of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Enforcement Team, served a search warrant in the 15000 block of Tenth Street. During the service of the warrant, Deal was located and arrested without incident.

Deal was booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for P.C. 664/187 – Attempt Murder.
