HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot and killed Monday night.
The call was dispatched at 6:30 pm in the 16400 block of Smoke Tree Street just west of Hesperia rd in the city of Hesperia
When police arrived they found a male adult lying in the roadway and pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Police taped off the residential area with crime scene tape as several homicide detectives began arriving.
Officials have not provided any details as the investigation is ongoing.
Smoke Street is expected to remain closed between 1st and 3rd Avenues for several hours.
