Man ejected from car, 4 others injured in Apple Valley crash

APPLE VALLEY, Calf. (VVNG.com ) A 49-year-old man was ejected from a vehicle, and several others were injured following a major crash Sunday afternoon.

The accident was reported at approximately 2:12 p.m. involving three vehicles near the intersection of Rancherias and Kiowa Roads.

When firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District arrived on scene, they began life-saving measures on the adult male that was ejected from a 2003 blue Mini Cooper. He was then transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.

Four other occupants of the other two vehicles, a silver Kia and a 2016 green Subaru, were transported by ground ambulance to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT.)
