From the coroners press release ,”On 8-10-13, at 9:44 PM, Richard Story, age 55, a resident of Carlsbad, was driving a Volvo sedan northbound on State Route 395, south of Luna Road, in Victorville.
A BMW was traveling southbound when the driver suddenly swerved into the northbound lane. The BMW collided head-on with the Volvo. Mr. Story was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the BMW was air-lifted to a hospital. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the collision.”
