HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) A man is dead after being involved in a T-Bone accident early Saturday morning.
The accident occurred at approximately 2:22 a.m. at the intersection of I Avenue and Bear Valley Road.
For unknown reasons, a blue GMC Sonoma pickup truck traveling eastbound on Bear Valley Road T-Boned a Honda Civic that was traveling northbound on ‘I’ Avenue.
The impact sent the Honda into the parking lot of a Shell gas station causing the Honda to strike another parked vehicle.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the Sonoma was uninjured.
The accident initiated on the Hesperia side of Bear Valley Road, but ended within Victorville city limits.
Bear Valley Road was closed between Ridgecrest and Peach Avenue while the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) processes the scene.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s from the Hesperia Station will be handling the investigation.
