VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) 37-year-old Armando Castillo of Victorville is dead after being shot in his stomach Wednesday morning.
At around 12:14 a.m., deputies responded to the 12800 block of Boulder Creek Road and found Castillo unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound.
Castillo was transported to Desert Valley Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 1:23 am.
According to scanner traffic, at least five subjects were witnessed running from the immediate area following the shooting.
“Investigators learned the shooting took place a few blocks away in the 13200 block of Soft Cloud Way. After the shooting, Armando Castillo’s friends drove him to the home of an acquaintance in the 12800 block of Boulder Creek Road,” officials said in a news release.
Officials say they have no suspect and no motive at this time.
