Man critically injured after crash involving pickup truck and a quad in Phelan

PHELAN, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A man riding a quad is in grave condition after he was struck by a pickup truck Saturday night.
It happened at about 6:49 pm, on Sheep Creek Road near Joshua Street and involved a white Toyota Tundra pick-up truck and a red Honda quad.
The rider was ejected from the quad and was unresponsive after the crash.
Several Good Samaritans performed CPR on the man until first responders arrived.
The rider was transported by an American Medical Response (AMR) ambulance to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Sheep Creek Road was closed for at least two hours while the Victorville CHP office investigated the crash.
