Man Convicted of Possessing Child Porn Sentenced and Released

VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): Victorville resident, 20-year-old Dale Clark Robertson was sentenced on January 4th to one year in jail and 5 years of probation after being convicted of three counts of felony possession or control of child pornography. The conviction came after a plea bargain, where the defendant changed his plea from not guilty to no contest according to San Bernardino Court records.
Deputies, after receiving a October 2014 tip responded to the home on the 16000 block of Tawney Ridge Lane on July 1, 2015 with a search warrant. Detectives tracked internet and server addresses to determine the address of the home that was the location of the crimes.
Robertson was released with time served plus conduct credit, but is ordered as a condition of his release to comply with a long list of court orders. The defendant is prohibited from possessing a smart phone, tablet, computer or any other internet advice. In addition to that, he must not use the internet under any circumstances or at any location as part of his probation
Robertson must also register as a sex offender, stay away from underaged females, submit to random polygraph testing and participate in a sex offender treatment program.
After sentencing Robertson was released from custody 9:51 p.m. on Monday, January 4th with time served which includes conduct credit.
