Man busted for using brothers identity after DUI arrest in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A San Bernardino man arrested for DUI in Apple Valley was later charged with another crime after police realized he used his brother’s name and social security number.
On November 18, 2019, at about 6:20 pm, deputy Rollins from the Apple Valley Police Department arrested a subject for DUI in the area of Cocqui Road and Otomian Road in Apple Valley.
According to sheriff’s spokeswoman Jackie Alban, a short time later, deputy Rollins discovered the suspect had used his brother’s name, DOB, address, SS#, etc.
Alban said, the correct person, Brian Raigosa, a 32-year-old resident of San Bernardino, was booked into High Desert Detention Center for being in violation of VC 23152 (B), DUI over .08% and PC 529 False Personation.
He is also charged with PC148(A)(1) Obstructing a Public Safety Officer.
According to public arrest records, Raigosa is currently being held on a combined $130,000 dollars and is scheduled for arraignment on November 25, 2019.
