
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who broke into a woman’s home and held her at knifepoint.
On June 16, 2017, at approximately 6:22 a.m. an unidentified Black male adult broke into a home located in the 15000 block of Whitekirk Drive in Victorville.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Victorville Station, the male made entry through a rear window.
“The victim was awoken in her bedroom by the suspect who was armed with two large knives. The suspect walked the victim through the residence while demanding money and jewelry,” stated sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.
The suspect fled the residence through the same rear window used to enter the home.
The suspect is described as a black male adult, late teens to early 20’s, 5’8”-5’10”, thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray zip-up hoodie sweatshirt, shorts, white socks, and sandals.
Detectives with the Victorville Police Department continue to investigate this incident.
