
UPDATE 10/6/17 – According to public records, Seguin Munoz-Feliciano was convicted of “Annoying or Molesting a child under 18 years of age” by a jury on September 27, 2017.
On October 6, 2017, he was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for 9 days served and must register as a sex offender. He will be on felony probation for 36 months.
HESPERIA, Calif. (PRESS RELEASE) Authorities arrested a 29-year-old man who allegedly touched a young girl inappropriately inside a female restroom at Golden Corral in Hesperia.
On Saturday, June 3, 2017, at approximately 5:17 p.m. deputies with the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to the Golden Corral for a report of a male subject who reportedly touched a 12-year-old female in an inappropriate manner, while inside of the female restroom in the restaurant.
While en route to the incident location, dispatch was given suspect information that was aired to the deputies of a Hispanic male approximately 20-30 wearing a gray shirt and black jeans, who had already left the location. Deputies did an extensive area check but were unable to locate anyone matching the suspect description.
Through investigation, it was learned that the victim, who was at the restaurant with family, had gotten up to use the restroom when the suspect followed her into the female’s restroom. Once inside the restroom, the suspect stopped the victim from leaving and then touched her inappropriately. The suspect immediately rushed out of the restroom and fled the restaurant.
After further investigation, the suspect, Seguin Munoz-Feliciano, a resident of Barstow was identified and contacted at his residence in Barstow. Munoz-Feliciano was taken into custody without incident and booked into Barstow Jail where he was later transferred to High Desert Detention Center, and booked for PC 236, false imprisonment, and PC 288(a), lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14.
Munoz-Feliciano was booked at High Desert Detention Center Lewd and Lascivious Acts and False Imprisonment. He posted $250,000 bail and was released from custody on June 14, 2017.
