Man Arrested For the Christmas Day Murder

HESPERIA:(VVNG.com)- A West Covina man has been arrested for the murder of 37-year-old David Bustamante that occurred at the In-N-Out parking lot on Christmas Day. According to authorities, 47-year-old Johnny Michael Oliva was identified as the suspect responsible for the murder of Bustamante.

According to a press release, On Saturday, December 26, 2015, at approximately 5:10 a.m., members of the Sheriff’s Regional Gang Team and Specialized Enforcement Detail located, and arrested, Oliva near his residence in West Covina. The vehicle believed to have been driven by Oliva during the murder was also recovered. Investigators have worked non-stop recovering evidence and speaking to witnesses. Investigators believe there are additional witnesses who have information related to the investigation, so no additional information will be released while the investigation is on-going.
