Man Arrested For Allegedly Threatening to Kill His Wife

HESPERIA, Calif :(VVNG.com)- A 57-year-old South Carolina man was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill his wife Monday evening.
On August 8th, at about 7:30 p.m. Hesperia deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at the Pilot Truck Stop located at 8701 US Highway 395 in Hesperia.
Per scanner reports, dispatch received information stating the suspect, later identified as Donald Craig was armed with a handgun and threatening to kill his wife inside of a parked semi.
Before deputies arrived, Craig walked away from the semi, armed with his handgun and walked into the Outpost Cafe.
Deputies made contact with Donald Craig and found he made threatening statements to his wife and was in possession of a handgun, stated Sheriff’s spokeswoman Cindy Bachman.
Craig was booked at West Valley Detention Center for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and is being held on $50,000 bail. He is expected to be arraigned on Thursday, August 11th.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
