Man Arrested After Stabbing Victim In Face During Altercation In Old Town Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 34-year-old Victorville transient was arrested Saturday night after allegedly stabbing a man in the face during a physical altercation in Old Town.

The incident occurred on April 25, 2026, at about 8:35 a.m., near the area of La Paz Drive and Seventh Street, according to information provided by Gloria Orejel.

Authorities said two males were involved in an argument that escalated into a physical fight. During the confrontation, the suspect, identified as Preston Holloway, allegedly stabbed the victim in the face before fleeing the area.

Deputies conducted an area check and located Holloway a short time later. He was taken into custody without further incident.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately available.

Holloway was booked at the High Desert Detention Center and remains in custody on $1,000,000 bail.

The investigation is being handled by the Victorville Police Department.
