Man Allegedly Tried to Touch Young Girl in Golden Corral Restroom

UPDATE 6/7/17 – Statement from California Corral, Inc., a Golden Corral Franchise:

“We are aware of allegations regarding an individual not employed by our restaurant and a guest who is a minor.

We are actively cooperating with the authorities on this matter. The safety and well-being of our guests is always our first priority.”

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) Authorities are looking into allegations that an adult male attempted to touch a 12-year-old girl inside a restroom at a family restaurant.

On Saturday, June 3, 2017, at about 5:20 p.m. deputies responded to the Golden Corral at 12845 Main Street in Hesperia.

The young girl reported being in the bathroom when the male walked in and attempted to touch her, per scanner reports.

According to Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jackie Chambers, the male subject is an unidentified Hispanic male approximately 20-30 years old.

The suspect left the scene immediately after the incident. Deputies conducted an area check but were unable to locate the suspect, Chambers said.

Victor Valley News reached out to the Golden Corral restaurant for a statement, but was referred to a manager who was unavailable Tuesday.
