Man Airlifted Following Motorcycle Traffic Collision on I-15

OAK HILLS-(VVNG.com): The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating a traffic collision involving a single motorcycle.
On Friday, September 25th, just after 3:05 p.m. a motorcyclist was involved in a single-vehicle traffic collision causing the rider to be ejected from his motorcycle and laying near the center divider of traffic on the I-15 north.
Per scanner traffic, the motorcyclist was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
The collision left the #1 (fast) and#2 lanes of northbound I-15 traffic just south of Oak Hills Road closed for nearly two hours. All lanes were reopened to traffic at approximately 4:30 p.m.
There were no other vehicles involved in this collision, no other injuries were reported and the cause of the collision is under investigation at this time.
