Man Accused of February 2015 Rape Released After Plea Bargain

VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): A man accused of a February 10, 2015 rape was released from jail on parole late Tuesday night after a no contest plea as part of a plea bargain.
The rape was reported by the victim, who was an acquaintance of the man identified as 38-year-old Roy Tyjuan Broussard.
The woman said that she was raped in Broussard’s vehicle on the 16500 block of Chestnut Street in Hesperia, but was able to escape.
Broussard pleaded no contest to false imprisonment charges, dropping all of the charges including rape, sexual penetration against victim’s will and criminal threats. Sentencing included 16 months in prison in which made Brossard eligible for release due to the just over 8 months of time served which included equal time in conduct credit.
