Man, 58, airlifted from Highway 395 and Eucalyptus Street Crash Tuesday

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) – Firefighters successfully extricated an individual following a collision involving multiple vehicles on Tuesday night.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:01 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 395 and Eucalyptus Street.

Authorities responded to the scene and located a 58-year-old male who had sustained injuries and exhibited an altered level of consciousness, as relayed by scanner reports.

The driver of the white sedan was airlifted to a trauma center.

He was trapped inside his vehicle; however, firefighters skillfully rescued him through a window.

The injured man was transported to Sunset Ridge Park, where a Mercy Air helicopter further transported the man to a trauma center in Antelope Valley.

Additionally, a second victim in a Honda received treatment for less severe injuries and was taken to a local hospital for further care and assessment.

The collision caused heavy traffic in the immediate area.

The Victorville Police Department is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.

As of now, there are no further updates regarding the accident.
