Louisiana Fried Chicken in Adelanto reopens after cockroach infestation

ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The Louisiana Fried Chicken in Adelanto reopened after county health officials closed the restaurant due to a cockroach infestation.
The restaurant at 11965 Cactus Road in Adelanto was shut down by a San Bernardino County Health inspector on January 13, 2020.
According to the health inspection report, a cockroach infestation was observed causing the facility to close and the permit to be suspended.
The inspector observed numerous live German cockroaches in/on the wall next to the water heater and near food items. Numerous dead cockroaches were also found around the water heater, per the report.
The inspector reinstated the permit due to the elimination of cockroach infestation on January 15, 2020, and the restaurant was allowed to re-open to the public.
An A grade placard was posted by the inspector after receiving a score of 90 points.
