(VVNG.com)- Many Victor Valley Residents find it difficult to make ends meet. Since many get free lunch from school, summer vacation is a time that so many of the parents fear hoping that they will have enough to feed their children. The USDA Summer Lunch Food Program helps provide free lunch for children up age 18 throughout the summer. These programs were created to make sure that low-income children continue to have healthy meals even when school is not in session. The areas that are approved for these programs have large concentrations of low-income children making this program not only beneficial but a need for a large amount of families in these areas.
