VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Raising the Bar 360, a local non-profit group is working hard this holiday season to bring “Smiles to Seniors” and need the communities’ support to continue to spread holiday cheer.

Raising the Bar 360 was created to support families by increasing the affordability of gymnastics participation for local youth. This holiday season, they have been hard at work, putting together their Smiles for Seniors project to give back to their community.

On December 18th, the non-profit visited the Whispering Winds of Apple Valley assisted living facility and put on a Christmas performance highlighting their floor tumbling and flexibility. After the performance, the gymnasts handed out gifts to every senior who attended, they played card games, and read the Christmas story.

It is Raising the Bar’s hope to be able to bring many more smiles to our senior community, but they need assistance. Over the next few weeks, Raising the Bar will be visiting four more senior homes and is need of additional donations to continue to bring gifts to the residents.

Donations requested include fuzzy socks, blankets, lotion, chapstick, stuffed animals, and other essential items. Donations are being accepted at 360 Freestyle Gymnastics, located at 22355 Powhatan Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92308.
