Local Celebrities to host Homeless Veteran Event with Teens.

thisMost parents will tell you that their teenager feels more entitled than ever. However, there is also a sense of wanting to make a difference in the world. Most kids feel the need to help animals from harm, the less fortunate and especially other teens. The problem is that they don’t always know where to go to volunteer. Usually there is paper work to fill out if a parent can’t be there and age requirements to meet.

Teen Revolution was started when my daughters and their friends wanted to assist me when I seemed overwhelmed with my volunteer work. Now they help anywhere they can. This months project is Homeless Veteran Appreciation Day. Though, no one in need will be turned away, they will focus, along with Get Glammed Nail and Hair Salon , to try and make everyone feel welcomed as a guest. The homeless will be receiving Free Haircuts, Shaves, Hot Food and Winter Clothes. The teens hard work has not gone unnoticed. Even though this event has taken less than a Month to put together they have attracted local celebrities like Steve from Barter Kings , Andrew Caravella from Retro Rock It, Chris Culley a local MMA Fighter who opened up a local Martial Arts Gym in Victorville  and other surprise celebrities.

Teen Revolution was lucky enough to get an interview with Andrew Caravella and fell in love with his sense of humor, compassion and the ability to chrisrelate to teens.

TR: What would you like to tell people about this Homeless Veteran event?
AC: This event is being put on by teens in the community that want to help the heroes past and present in our Country.

TR: The teens at Teen Revolution saw your videos and wanted you to be a part of this event?
AC: Yes. I was actually contacted by them and they asked me to be part of this humanitarian event. The name and cause obviously caught my attention since my own company is known as “REBEL KID MUSIC” SO “TEEN REVOLUTION” sounded intriguing to me.

TR: What is it that you actually expect to give to the community from the Homeless Veteran event?
AC: The only thing I expect to gain from this experience is the satisfaction of knowing that I was able to help our heroes get a day of TLC. They deserve it for all their sacrifices.

TR: Can you tell us 5 random things about yourself?
AC:1) I AM DEATHLY AFRAID OF MUSHROOMS.2) LIME GREEN IS MY FAVORITE COLOR. 3) I AM A CLOSETED THESPIAN. 4) I HAVE A SHOT GLASS COLLECTION FROM ALL AROUND THE WORLD. 5) THE LATE LARRY HAGMAN TAUGHT ME HOW TO USE CHOPSTICKS. I’M PART ASIAN SO IT WAS RATHER EMBARRASSING.

TR: If you could redo a scene or a movie that you have done, which would it be and why?aa3
AC: NOTHING. I made art the way I did whether it went according to plan or not. To change it would be to disturb art. You wouldn’t ask Da Vinci to redo the Mona Lisa, would you?

TR:What’s the most fun you had making a film?
AC: I got my fame via internet, so making web shows is the most fun I have ever had, especially doing Live Shows. Something would always go wrong which would make the show that much more interesting. Example; I did a happy dance and ripped my pants.

TR: Anything you’d like to say to the teens of the High Desert?
AC: Just want to say keep dreaming. As long as you keep it alive, those beliefs will come to pass. I promise.

TR: What is one of your favorite charities and why?
AC: ASPCA! Have to love animals. Also The Starlight Children’s Foundation is a great one for kids.

TR: What can we look forward to from you? Any new shows, movies, etc.?
AC: Yes. New album set for release in early Spring 2014. New reality show this December and also a new episode of “RETRO ROCK-IT” in the spring!

TR: What would you message be about life to all your fans out there?
AC: Don’t let people rip your dreams. As long as you believe it and want it and desire it, it will and can be yours. Keep your faith. Who you were meant to be really be IS possible.
