HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 50-year-old Victorville woman is under arrest after she violently assaulted and broke a glass bottle over a liquor store clerk’s head, officials said.
It happened on October 26, 2019, at 8:41 pm at the Crown Liquor and Market on the 16000 block of Bear Valley Road near the intersection of 7th Avenue.
Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department responded to the business following the report of a robbery.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jodi Miller said the suspect Sanise Love, entered the liquor store and struck the store clerk in the head with a glass bottle of alcohol which broke.
A cell phone video captured by a customer and was shared on Facebook showed a woman going behind the counter and attacking the clerk. The video ends as the rest of the assault continued.
After the unprovoked attack, Sanise exited the store and collapsed on the sidewalk directly outside of the store. Broken glass, liquor bottles, and blood splattered was visible near the front door of the business from the parking lot
The female suspect was found to have a laceration to her arm and was flown to a trauma center, it’s unknown how her injury occurred.
Miller said the male victim was not stabbed but he was treated at a local area hospital for the injury to his head.
According to booking logs, Saniese Love is charged with PC 211 Robbery and her bail is set at $100,000. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in a Victorville courtroom on October 29, 2019.
