Licensed foster parent arrested for lewd acts with a 6-year-old child in Fontana
FONTANA, Calif. — Jose Vicente, a licensed foster parent in Fontana was arrested for lewd acts with a 6-year-old girl, officials said.
On Thursday, June 20, 2019, deputies from the Fontana Sheriff’s Station began an investigation regarding sexual abuse allegation of a six-year-old female.
Detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children Detail assisted Fontana deputies with the investigation.
On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, Jose Vicente was contacted and arrested for PC288(a) Lewd Acts with a Child. Vicente was booked at Central Detention Center in San Bernardino with bail set at $350,000.
58-year-old Jose Vicente has been a licensed foster parent in Fontana since 2007.
He is scheduled to appear in San Bernardino Superior Court on August 12th at 8:30 a.m.
