Late Night Head on Traffic Collision in Lucerne Valley

LUCERNE VALLEY:(VVNG.com)- Dispatch received a report of a two vehicle head on traffic collision with extrication near the Mitsubishi Cement Plant on Highway 18.
The call was received at approximately 12:10 A.M., on Saturday, June 20, 2015.
Per scanner traffic, three patients were listed as requiring medical attention including a pregnant female.
Upon arrival, first responders determined two patients had major injuries and would be airlifted out. A third patient was listed as delayed.
A total of two air ambulances have been requested and will use Pioneer Park as a designated landing zone.
Mercy 22 will transport one patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and Mercy 18 will transport a second patient to Loma Linda Medical Center.
