Las Vegas man killed in Dumont Dunes crash on Thanksgiving Day

DUMONT DUNES, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 55-year-old man died during an off-road accident at Dumont Dunes on Thanksgiving Day.
At about 12:35 am, on November 22, 2018, California Highway Patrol Officer’s responded to an off-highway vehicle collision.
According to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office, Richard William Pasquarello, of Las Vegas was the driver and sole occupant of a 2019 Polaris RZR who lost control of the Polaris and rolled.
Pasquarello sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash is under investigation by the Barstow Highway Patrol Station.
This is the second confirmed death at Dumont Dunes since the start of the holiday week.
On November 20, 2018, a 40-year-old Sacramento man was the passenger in a Polaris RZR when it overturned killing him and leaving the driver critically injured.
On Friday, November 23rd at about 12:00 pm, a man involved in an off-road accident was critically injured and was airlifted from Dumont Dunes to a Las Vegas hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
