
OAK HILLS, Calif. (VVNG.com) A crash involving a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck prompted authorities to shut down a stretch of the 15 freeway Wednesday night.
At 11:32 p.m Officers with the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to a traffic collision on the northbound 15 freeway south of Oak Hill Road.
Per scanner traffic, a pickup truck crashed into the rear of a semi causing the driver to become trapped.
According to CHP logs, the party was reported to be trapped under the dashboard.
CHP has stopped all northbound lanes in order to allow firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire to extricate the subject from the vehicle.
The tractor-trailer is carrying a load of bottled water and the driver was not injured.
Motorist traveling through the pass are reporting fog with reduced visibility.
A SigAlert was issued at 12:17 a.m. and at this time it’s unknown how long CHP will have traffic stopped for.
The California Highway Patrol Victorville division will investigate the cause of the crash.
