CAJON PASS:(VVNG.com)- A traffic collision was reported at 12:16 A.M., on Sunday, June 14th on the northbound 15 freeway south of Cleghorn Road.
Per scanner traffic, the two vehicle accident occurred on the right shoulder of the freeway just before the bypass lane.
According to CHP incident logs, for unknown reasons a Jeep overturned and landed on its hood. The occupants were able to exit the vehicle. A second vehicle described as a white Nissan Altima was also involved in the collision. At this time injuries are unknown.
One to two barrels filled with sand are blocking the lanes at the entrance of the bypass lane. A street sweeper has been requested to assist in clearing up sand from the roadway.
As of 1:00 A.M., all lanes are closed except for the #3 lane.
Traffic is reported to be heavy through the area, expect delays.
