Landscape Rehabilitation Project to Begin at Victorville Transportation Center

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) – The City of Victorville will begin a landscape rehabilitation project at the Victor Valley Transportation Center on May 18.
The project, which should be complete June 30, will replace existing landscaping with drought-tolerant plants and water-wise irrigation.
In addition, the new landscape will incorporate lower-profile plants to increase visibility at the busy transit center.
City officials expect parking at the Transportation Center to be reduced at times during this project that was awarded to David Ollis Landscape Inc. Additional parking is available in the dirt lot east of the Transportation Center at the site of the old Forrest Park if needed.
Questions regarding this landscape improvement project can be directed to the City’s Community Services Department at (760) 243-1980.
