Keep E-Waste Out of The Trash

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com)- Did you know that electronic waste, otherwise known as e-waste, shouldn’t be thrown in the trash? That’s because e-waste contains a wide range of components and materials that not only make them unsafe to be disposed of in the normal trash but these materials can also be recycled to use again for a variety of purposes.

So if you’re in need of cleaning out some of your old computer equipment or getting rid of an out of date cell phone or video game console or even a small appliance like a microwave don’t toss them in the trash, simply take them to Hesperia’s Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility and dispose of them responsibly and for FREE.

The City’s HHW facility is located at 17443 Lemon Street and is open Tuesdays/Thursdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
