CAJON PASS, Calif. (VVNG.com) A small brush fire dubbed the “Keenbrook” fire was reported at about 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
The fire is reportedly burning off Cajon Blvd. by the train tracks near Keenbrook Road approximately 1 mile north of Kenwood Blvd. from the I-15.
According to officials, the fire started as a brush fire that went into a structure with multiple vehicles on the property.
Per scanner reports, propane tanks on the property were seen/heard exploding.
The latest information as of 5:40 p.m., the fire is at 1 acre with low to moderate rate of spread.
The fire is not impacting traffic on the I-15 freeway through the Cajon Pass.
Firefighters with the US Forest Service are handling the incident. San Bernardino County Fire was requested to assist.
