Juvenile Shot in Foot While Trick or Treating in Victorville on Halloween Night
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A male juvenile was shot in the foot while trick or treating on Halloween night in Victorville.
At about 8:00 pm, on October 31, 2024, deputies with the Victorville Police Department responded to the 11900 block of Iverson Street, west of Highway 395, for the report of a male juvenile who had been shot in the foot.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Gloria Herta told VVNG, the victim was trick or treating with friends when a shooting occurred.
“The victim heard the gunshots but was unaware he had been shot until he felt pain. He ran home where emergency services were called, and he was transported to a hospital,” stated Huerta.
Deputies blocked off several of the nearby streets and searched the area. The spokeswoman said the suspect(s) is unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
