Joshua Circle Elementary teacher recognized as Outstanding Teacher of the month

HESPERIA – Assemblyman Jay Obernolte (R-Hesperia) has honored Lauren Gorden from Joshua Circle Elementary as the Outstanding Teacher of the Month for the 33rd Assembly District.

Lauren Gorden is the 6th grade teacher at Joshua Circle Elementary School in Hesperia. She is known for being dedicated and passionate about student achievement.

Ms. Gorden is an exemplary educator due to her insightful, innovative and global mindset, which has contributed to redefining teaching philosophies and practices that promote school-wide student achievement. Besides being an amazing educator, she also possesses a strength of character that makes her a positive influence and a leader amongst her colleagues.

Furthermore, Ms. Gorden’s attitude and generous nature allows her to easily build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.

“Lauren is clearly a passionate teacher who is loved by her students and colleagues alike. She works collaboratively with her fellow teachers to find new and innovative ways to help improve student achievement,” Assemblyman Obernolte said. “Because of her commitment to success in her classroom, Lauren is widely viewed as a remarkable educator who pushes her students to strive for their fullest potential. It is my honor to recognize Lauren Gorden as the 33rd Assembly District’s Outstanding Teacher for the month of November.”
