DEEP CREEK-(VVNG.com): An injured person was rescued by hoist from the remote area known as Aztec Falls in Deep Creek on Wednesday, July 8th. The victim was hoisted from the area at approximately 1:00 p.m.
According to authorities, the victim was part of a group of people who were diving from the cliffs into shallow water when he/she was injured. The injured person required a hoist rescue by the Astar B3 helicopter.
The extent of the injuries or identity of the victim is unknown at this time. Information will be updated as it is received.
