VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Deputies are searching for a driver who fled from a single vehicle collision, leaving the scene and an overturned SUV.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, at about 5:48 p.m. CHP officers from the Victorville Station responded to a solo vehicle crash on 15 freeway off-ramp of Nisqualli Road.
A red 2006 Dodge Durango was located flipped on the shoulder of the exit.
The driver of the red SUV, a Hispanic male adult, according to the logs, fled the scene on foot westbound on Nisqualli Road.
He was described as wearing an all grey sweatsuit, approximately 25-30 years of age, and limping with a possible foot injury.
A tow truck was called to the scene to remove the vehicle, and the investigation remains open and ongoing.
