In-N-Out Burger In Hesperia to Expand Drive-Thru and Parking Facilities

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) – The In-N-Out Burger in Hesperia is set to undergo significant expansion efforts aimed at enhancing customer service and traffic flow.

The popular eatery located at Store #72, 17069 Bear Valley Road, just east of Hesperia Road, will not only increase its drive-thru capacity but also its parking lot area.

The expansion involves utilizing a vacant lot situated behind the existing building, extending the compound towards Sequoia Street.

The current parking lot, known as north parcel B, encompasses an approximately one-acre land area of 40,803 square feet, which includes the current 3,045 square foot building.

The new south parcel A is a comparable 41,771 square feet. The combined size of the two lots will be approximately 1.896 acres after the expansion.

One of the most significant changes will be the addition of two new drive-thru lanes that will converge into the existing lane. This addition is expected to streamline the vehicle queuing process.

Furthermore, the order placement boards and speakers will be moved to a new location as per the submitted site plans. Vehicles will have a designated waiting area to prevent congestion and ensure that the alleyway connecting Sequoia Street and Bear Valley Road remains unobstructed.

This new configuration will also create space for an additional 24 parking spots. This number, together with the existing 53 spots, results in a total of 77 parking spaces. This upgrade also includes an increment in the drive-thru car queue capacity from fitting 13 vehicles to 29 vehicles along the newly proposed vehicle stack lanes.

The latest parking layouts are designed to cater to different sizes, with 11 spaces allocated for larger recreational vehicles in dimensions ranging from 12’x35.7′, 10’x31′, to 10’x45′, complemented by 13 standard-sized parking spots that measure 9’x18′.

Unfortunately, the expansion will see the removal of 6 trees from the south parcel and 4 trees from the north parcel. These changes aim to enhance the drive-thru experience and provide ample parking for both standard vehicles and larger recreational units.

The project will also include minor updates to the facilities at the north property.

This development is geared towards reducing the overflow of traffic from the drive-thru that has been known to extend onto Bear Valley Road during peak hours, promoting a safer and more efficient service landscape for In-N-Out customers.
