SPRING VALLEY LAKE:(VVNG.com)- A widespread power outage has left hundreds of Southern California Edison customers without any electricity on this Father’s Day holiday.
According to SCE, the unplanned outage was reported on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at 10:51 A.M., impacting 1,391 homes in Spring Valley Lake and parts of Hesperia and Apple Valley.
On the SCE outage website it states,
“At this time, we are analyzing the problem. We are in the process of testing the lines to try and isolate the problem to as few customers as possible.”
As of 12:00 P.M., the current temperature in the Victor Valley was 95 degrees with an expected high of 102 degrees.
The latest updated shows power is expected to be restored by 1:30 P.M. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
