Homicide Investigation Underway in Lucerne Valley

LUCERNE VALLEY:(VVNG.com)- On Thursday, July 16, 2015 at approximately 6:00 A.M., dispatch received a report of a possible deceased person inside a home.
Deputies responded to the residence on the 6800 block of Crystal Creek Road near Crescent Road and Furnace Creek Road in Lucerne Valley.
Per scanner traffic, a deputy made entry into the residence and found an unresponsive male victim in the front room. The male had obvious blunt force trauma to the head and blood everywhere. The unidentified male was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to authorities, the incident is currently being investigated as a murder. Homicide was requested to respond to the location.
