Homicide Investigation Causes Road Closure in Victorville

VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): Victorville residents awoke to a crime scene in the area of Seventh Street between Desert Knoll Drive and Victor Street on Monday morning. The road closure and white Homicide investigation trucks in the nearby store parking lot raise concerns about what is now confirmed to be an investigation headed by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Division.
The incident began in the very early morning hours of Monday, July 13th at approximately 4:00 a.m. blocking off the small stretch of Seventh Street and the parking lot of the small shopping center in the 14800 block of Seventh Street.
Witnesses reported that the body of a Black Male Adult could be seen lying on the ground uncovered in front of the Pueblo Ranch Market.
At this time the street is closed and will be for the remainder of the investigation, the duration of this closure at this time is unknown, but is expected to be “several hours” according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Spokeswoman Cindy Bachman.
She also added that they can confirm that there is one adult male victim, but since there is an active investigation they are unable to provide any further information at this time.
