VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Detectives are seeking any additional victims after a homeless man was photographed by a woman who alleged he was masturbating while looking at her young daughter.
On August 19, 2019, deputies with the Victorville Police Department’s, Multiple Enforcement Team conducted a pedestrian check on the suspect, Cyrus Cook, 39, of Victorville.
According to a sheriff’s news release, Cook was found to have an outstanding warrant for a violation of felony parole. He was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for the violation.
“Deputies have been made aware of a social media post and photo, depicting Cook at a gas station on the corner of La Paz Drive. The post indicated Cook had been looking at young girls inside of vehicles at the location and masturbating,” stated the release.
The police department is asking anyone that witnessed this incident, or similar incidents involving Cook, to contact Sergeant S. Allen at (760) 241-2911 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (760) 956-5001.
