Hoist Rescue Underway for Possible Rattlesnake Bite Victim

UPDATE @ 3:10 PM – The injured hiker will be transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
HESPERIA:(VVNG.com)- Dispatch received a report of a victim reporting a possible rattlesnake bite. The report was made at about 2:22 PM, on Tuesday, May 3, 2015.
Per scanner traffic, the incident was reported to have occurred along the Pacific Crest Trail approximately 4 miles east of the Cajon Pass in the county area of Hesperia. The victim was reported to be alone at the time of the incident.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s helicopter 40 king and Air Rescue 7 responded to help locate the victim. Air Rescue 7 will perform a hoist rescue on the snake bite victim.
