Highway 138 closed at the 15 freeway in the Cajon Pass

CAJON PASS, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The powerful winter storm has prompted the California Highway Patrol to shut down Highway 138 in the Cajon Pass.

According to the CHP incident logs, as of 12:00 am., on December 26, 2019, the 138 is closed between Hess and Beekley Roads and chains are required.

At about 12:25 am, dispatch received reports of several vehicles that were stuck in the snow near Highway 2.

Per the logs, Caltrans is preparing to set-up the hard closure at the I-15/Highway 138 as CHP works to clear the vehicles from the roadway.
