Las Vegas locals are excited knowing the wait will soon be over as the city’s latest attraction “The High Roller” is expected to open in early March 2014.

Topping 550 feet to make it the largest observation wheel in the world, the epic High Roller is the crown jewel of The LINQ.

Featuring 28 spherical, glass-enclosed cabins, that weigh in at 44,000 pounds, each modern-styled cabin is stylish and can hold up to 40 people. It promises to offer passengers with unparalleled views of Las Vegas in each full 30 minute rotation.

Nothing has redefined the iconic Las Vegas skyline more prominently than the High Roller, opening in 2014.

Tickets can be bought individually or in groups.

According to VegasChatter.com,

Tickets will be sold at three levels — Early Bird ($25), Twilight Flight ($30) and Night Owl ($35). The High Roller will open each day at 10 a.m. Purchase a ticket between then and 2 p.m. to ride as an early bird for $25. Want to ride later in the day? Ride from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. for $30 as a twilight lover. Even later? Climb aboard from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. for $35 to be a night owl.

Once a ticket is bought, riders are thrust into an immersive journey from start to finish that begins with its pre-ride experience, through the wheel house with its own lounge. Whether renting out a cabin for wedding or private party, or going solo, each one features dynamic music and video shows that seamlessly fade in and out as riders take in the 360-degree sights.

Parallel to Las Vegas Boulevard, the massive wheel measures 520 feet in diameter, eclipsing both the London Eye and Singapore Flyer. With more than 2,000 LED lights, it serves as a sparkling focal point for the district. Visitors can enjoy a full day and night’s worth of activities and venues at The LINQ before or after sky-high sightseeing.

Serving as a pinnacle example of how a treasured attraction such as an observation wheel can be modernized and Vegas-ized, the High Roller and accompanying LINQ district fill the need for curated, social and experiential attractions. These offerings maintain Las Vegas’s position as a forward-thinking destination offering the most exciting, full scale range of entertainment, dining, retail and nightlife offerings in the world.
